With all I’ve posted about my disenchantment with the state of the union, I still loved my little slice of heaven. How do I sync the two?

hey-I’m trying to update the site with software that will allow me to upload and archive all my cutting edge comic strips. Real heady stuff y’know. so excuse any messes.
“I think you guys are going have to come up with a lot of wonderful new lies, or people just aren’t going want to go on living.”
You could feel the end of the week stubbornness in the drive into the park and ride this morning. Folks have about had it with the week and are not going to take anymore shit from anyone, on the road or in the office. Thursday and Friday are the most unpolite days of the week. When I got to the bus stop a line had formed to get on, I stopped about 8 feet short of the next person, one, because I like my space, two I had to do a inventory of all the things that make you somebody in this world, wallet, keys, phone. Someone came up besides me and even though I was a ways back from the next in line, wouldn’t cut in front of me. All confirmed when I was done with my inventory I moved a bit closer and the person sucked right in behind me. We are trained early on to fall into a neat line, and more to be at the front or as close to the front as possible. If say your fifth in line, and you can get closer to the front by crowding the one in front of you, hell yea you do it. Don’t break the line rules by cutting, but fuck personal space. Take a minute to asess who “owns” you, who do you pay your mortgage too? Who do you pay your car(s) loan too, how much credit card debt do you have? After the 8 to 12 hour day is done, why did you do it? What would really happen if you just stopped? Would the trained complusion to work away your life be too strong or would you be freed? Do you have a passion or a hobby? I think a lot of people are unhappy because they’ve never had a chance to find out.
Until next time, “stay busy, idle hands are tools of the devil.”
Here we are in the new age of fuedelism, the federal governent as the monarchy doling out land and power too the banks and corporation. Who intern dole it out to us serfs and sharecroppers, with interest and allow us the privilage of feeding off the scraps. Our biggest and only weapon is our relationship with each other, the value we create between each other, and the willingness to share that value, rather than let the corporations and government extract that value.
