“The Jets will win this afternoon, I guarantee it,” slurred Broadway Joe, his left arm draped across Janet Sanders, a comely reporter from the Indianapolis Star. “I got some more guarantees,” he continued, sizing up the reporter he was now openly fondling, “but that’s between me and this lady over here, ain’t that right sweetheart? Come here, give Joe Willie a kiss.”

I bet he loves when shit like this happens.

one great thing about Slayer, you never have to question their intentions, which are to write and play face melting, blood soaked metal. That is why I love them.
this new album indeed delivers, TIGHT. Battering ram riffs, well produced, when I think of this type of music a braided steel cable comes to mind. During it’s manufacture, several smaller cords are brought together and braided forming one tight, hard cable, that is what happens when thrash is done properly.

Believe it or not, I’m still making my way through “You can’t go home again.”, it’s epic for sure, and I haven’t had a lot of time lately. But it is still fantastic. I think I read something else less memorable in the mean time.

enso symbolizes a moment when the mind is free to simply let the body/spirit create. The brushed ink of the the circle is usually done on silk or rice paper in one movement and there is no possibility of modification: it shows the expressive movement of the spirit at that time. Zen Buddhists “believe that the character of the artist is fully exposed in how she or he draws an enso. Only a person who is mentally and spiritually complete can draw a true enso. some artists will practice drawing an enso daily, as a kind of spiritual exercise.”

New Year’s Planning…

Monday, January 4th, 2010

hey all-

so what is driving your planning for the new year? or are you planning anything at all? Is it just another year to get through. what is driving our planning is what we see all around us, and what everyone sees around them. I see a another business in our future, but not a small business. we won’t have 100, 200, or 300 employees, so we won’t be a small business. we won’t have access to government funding, SBA funding or grant funding. By ourselves we won’t make a significant impact on the jobless figures, we will be a part of a greater whole, a paradigm shift called micro-business. the tens of thousands of small businesses that truly fuel the local economy. Together the micro businesses make a respectable figure, but alone, we are just consumers fueling bigger interests. I would like to raise awareness of us foot soldiers and the part we play. i would also like to talk about how we are driven by these bigger interests, how these entities make us believe we need to live according to an outdated social ethic that doesn’t reflect the clear reality of today’s society. i.e.- single income households, a house, 2.5 kids, a garage. really. it’s a mass delusion propagated by huge interests, who want you to believe that mom stays at home. the interests that believe that childcare is better left to T.V. and pharmaceuticals…
