…been painting a lot at the new work. Real painting is a lesson in chemistry. Mixing, straining, reducer, catalyst, so on. One thing I learned early, lacquer thinner and eyeballs don’t mix.

Ganister Hill
by William Minnick

That’s Uncle Bill.
I picked up his book over at mom’s the other day. I remember he use to send letters to mom and dad and they always seemed to get a kick out of them. It’s good to get a slice of life in and around Mt. Union PA. He has an impressive memory of every football game he has ever been apart of, remembers every score. I’m looking into getting a PDF of it so I can post it here for everyone.

hey all-

The new Metallica album is a return to the band I once knew and loved, really. After being gone so long it took a while to let the old band find it’s place in my black metallic heart. They were great at writing a melodic hook and then pile driving it into a tight, twisted steel chord. Do check it out.

I got the new iphone 3G…and it fucking rocks. I think I’m approaching a point where I can stop lugging around my laptop. Spending time figuring out the in’s and out’s and deciding on the add on apps to buy for it. There are many work arounds to be found also.
